We'll I've got a blog, so now I need some content.  So I went off surfing tonight looking for something useful to add and came across this blog being written by Dina Giolitto of wordfeeder.com it had a rather fun concept 24 Blogging Days 'til Christmas.

It's going to take me a while to write the longer articles that I have planed for this site, so this is a rather nice idea on how to get some useful content going while I get that done.

I'm getting a late start so this may be a bit more like the 16 days of Christmas, but from now 'till Christmas I'm going to try and post a direct mail related tip, trick or idea every day. They will likely be short entries, but hopefully they will have enough content that you will enjoy them and also find them useful and informative. I'm planning to gear this series more towards people who are new to direct mail, so I'm afraid that my old hands will have to hang on for those longer articles that are to come. But who knows, maybe I'll find some good ideas for you too.

Dina's blog was mostly oriented towards web and blog copywriting, but I did find some interesting articles that do relate to direct mail.  I'm saving those for a future post, so you'll just have to check back, or go look for yourself.

Hey John! Thanks for joining our motley blogging crew. I'll cut you some slack since you're just gearing up to be a blogger. ;) The best advice I can offer is... take it one blog post at a time.

Thanks, but don't go too easy on me. I lean more towards the technical end of things. Writing and graphics design are not my strongest areas. If I'm going to improve on them I need the criticism. So fire away.
