After 28 years in business, I have seen my share of both good and bad times as far as the economy is concerned.  However, economic downturns have never effected me too greatly. 

Why not?

When business slows down, I have always upped the amount of promotion I do.  From simple actions like making sure my offices are clean and presentable, to calling customers to see how things are going, to well if you haven't guessed it yet...  Direct Mail.

When things slow down you have to work a bit harder to get things back up to speed.  Direct mail is a quick and effective way to do that.
